Moving About

Almost a little too much moving around these past few weeks for me.  On weekends, I have become a homebody and enjoy the quiet of my house while the children play and we take walks to break up the day and get some exercise.  However, our family has been on the move to visit friends and family, or they have been up to see us!

It is special to laugh and have time to just be with the people we love.  Last week was a nice few days with cousins and Granny visiting from Indiana.  This weekend finds us in Fort Wayne to celebrate a few more birthdays of friends from college and their kids.

It is nice to let the kids just run and play, while Sam takes his pick of attention sources from a room full of adorning eyes.  It is a sweet feeling to know we are part of family and friends that are so connected.

Looking ahead, more friends will be visiting soon, and Thanksgiving is starting to come into focus and we have registered for the Turkey Trot again!  While it will be nice to have Monday off, I am looking forward to next weekend, when we will just be able to be at home and take a breath and be thankful for life and our own little family.

The view during the Color Run.  Looks like the Zombie Apocalypse!

After a difficult week, it was nice to take the girls to the bird preserve and throw rocks in the water and just listen to the breeze and crickets in the fall.
